Founded in 2007 by Walter Baietti, Sr, Cupertino's NY Bagels was born of a passionate pursuit for the traditional New York style bagel. The seed was planted by Walter's grandfather Frank Cupertino when he emigrated from Bari, Italy and opened his own bakery in Little Italy, Bronx NY.  The following 50 years Cupertino and family ran one of New York's most successful bakeries.

 

A few decades later, Walter and his family relocated to Richmond Virginia and opened shop! Named in honor of his grandfather, Cupertino's carries forward years of dedication and love for the New York style bagel.
